Colic Cure –

A colic cure? Well not really. The day that there is a cure for colic it will be a major announcement, and everyone will know about it.
But can there really ever be a cure for colic? I personally don’t think there will ever be a colic cure and here is why.
Colic is an effect of brain development in infants, well that is my opinion anyway. (If you want to know why I think that then you will have to read my book about how to stop a crying baby) It stands to reason that the cure will have to affect this brain development problem, and right now no physician in their right mind would mess with giving a baby a drug that affects the brain.
What shall we do? Nothing – Let it run? Well you could, but you would cheating yourself out of seeing your baby happy.
The answer is to be the nurse and ease any pain and suffering because there is no cure, you should address the symptoms and make the patient as comfortable as possible. It’s just like treating a cold, or a broken arm – there is no magic pill, but you can reduce the symptoms to help make things easier
OK so lets get started, the first thing you should do is know the symptoms. If you are a parent with a colicky infant then you pretty much will be focusing on the main symptom. The CRYING!
As it turns out, that is all you need to treat at first. So this will be simpler than you thought.
OK thats it you’re done
Just kidding.
How do you treat colic? Well there are 5 steps, that when used with one another will put your crying baby to sleep in a few moments. Usually I only need 3 of the 5 steps together and that is enough assist in calming baby and making baby sleep most of the time.
I will give away Steps 1, 4 & 5 to you here now. But to get the really important parts you will have to go to my colic website and get the info for free.
Step one: Bony Contact.
Contact to the front and back of baby simultaneously by
using contact with your own skin. This step is primary because it works
in with step three. I was originally going to make this step 3 but since it is
so fundamental and a prerequisite for other steps I decided to make
this step 1.
STEP 2 & 3 left out.
STEP 4: Use a Swaddle. There are video links on my site on how to do that.
STEP 5: Dummy or Pacifier – people think this is the best they can do, in these steps it is actually the worst one, and I have Proof It will actually increase the amount of time for baby to sleep when you use a dummy(Pacifier).
There is of course much more detail in my free ebook. The 5 steps take up A large majority of the book.
